Life in Canada right now isn’t fair. As most people struggle to get by, the government continues to make decisions that benefit the rich, big corporations, and well-connected. I’m voting for a fairer Canada that puts people before profits. I’m voting Green.
As a settler on Turtle Island, I acknowledge that the land on which I live and work is the traditional territory of many Indigenous peoples. This includes the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, and Mississaugas of the Credit.
I recognize the enduring presence and deep connection that Indigenous peoples have to this land, and I am committed to supporting efforts toward reconciliation, respect, and justice. I am grateful to call Toronto my home and to serve the diverse community of University—Rosedale.
